Space is still available for a series of outdoor adventure campout workshops for children through July. The workshops sponsored by local nonprofit Birthola organization promote overnight campouts, hands-on learning and teamwork. Children will learn how to prepare breakfast and lunch at the camp site, pitch a tent, group games and will be able to browse the camping gear display station.
The workshops, which are age-appropriate designed, will be held at El Toro Elementary School, 455 East Main Ave., in Morgan Hill. All workshops take place 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Available dates are July 9; July 19 and July 26. The $45 fee includes breakfast and lunch.
