History: In 1983 local residents established South Valley National Bank to serve the community’s financial needs. The support and dedication from founding shareholders and loyal customers have helped position South Valley as a strong community bank, committed to providing friendly, responsive service to individuals and businesses. The first office opened in Morgan Hill on Aug. 15, 1983 and later, an office was opened in Gilroy.
