Police are looking for a man who was in an auto accident with a Morgan Hill teen, then assaulted her and stole her purse when the two stopped to exchange information.
Few details have emerged in the week following an early morning raid in Gilroy, in which a 42-year-old man wanted by local police was apprehended by federal agents on yet-to-be-announced charges.

FBI agents and Gilroy Police Department officers raided a home on the 200 block of Lewis Street Thursday morning and arrested a 42-year-old man, police said.
Morgan Hill police have identified a suspect in the string of seven burglaries that occurred between mid December and early January in southwest Morgan Hill. Police are looking for Jose Steven Torres, 21 of Morgan Hill who was identified by multiple witnesses as being in the immediate area as the burglaries. A fingerprint lifted from the scene of one of crimes was positively matched to Torres, police said.
