The container was so heavy that not only was it being pulled by a large semi, it was also being pushed by two large trucks the size of tow trucks. Traffic was stopped to allow this caravan to get through. As I headed home, traffic was stopped again at Butterfield Boulevard and Dunne Avenue. What was in this container?”
A former Gilroy resident who endured a debilitating car accident in 2009 on U.S. 101 in Monterey County near the Red Barn flea market has won a $4.55 million settlement from Caltrans, the estate of the other driver and Monterey County.
