Baseball: MH Assault wins another tourney

The Morgan Hill Assault youth baseball team went 5-0 on its way to the Nevada Regional NIT title in Reno, Nev., last weekend.

Cory Taylor, Zach Gieg and Jack Tomlinson all homered during the tournament for Assault, which beat Nevada Gunslingers 14-1, Battle Born Mavericks 10-9, Reno Hurricanes 11-1 and Bret’s Muckdogs twice by scores of 4-3.
