Friday night with an 11-9 victory over Monta Vista.
The Live Oak roller hockey team finished it’s regular season Friday night with an 11-9 victory over Monta Vista.

Junior Kyle Dutra scored the first two goals of the game for the Acorns, with assists coming from junior Brian Costello and senior Brian Morrison.

Dutra added three more goals and Costello also had three goals in the game to go along with his three assists.

Junior Conner Williamson added a pair of goals and senior Calvin Kiss also put one in the net for Live Oak, while senior goalie Ricky Lasher was solid in the net to help earn the win.

Junior Scott Alexander and sophomore Michael Widergren helped the team out with some solid defense.

The Acorns head into the single-elimination playoffs on Friday in a tie for second place with Westmont. Santa Teresa ended the season in first place.

Live Oak faces sixth-place St. Lawrence on Friday at 5pm. A win would move the Acorns into the semifinals on Saturday at 5pm, with another win putting them into the championship game Sunday at 1pm.
