Grocery Outlet is set to open a store in Morgan Hill, and the new location will host a ribbon cutting celebration on July 17. During the event, the store’s operators will donate $1,000 to the Edward Boss Prado Foundation.

The store’s new location is located at 140 Cochrane Plaza. The ribbon cutting event will take place at 10am. Starting at 7am, the first 100 customers at the new Grocery Outlet will receive a gift card for “mystery amounts” ranging from $5 to $500, says a press release from the store.

Shoppers will also receive one free reusable bag with a purchase through opening week, while supplies last.

Customers can also enter to win $1,000 in free groceries July 17-Aug. 15.

The new Morgan Hill Grocery Outlet is owned by independent operators Frank and Melinda English.
