EDITOR: What is the big deal about
“The Gateway” to the city anyway. In-N-Out Burger makes a nice
addition to “The Gateway”, including having Applebees next to it.
We have McDonalds, with all its tasteless, frozen and fattening
food and a gas station – what is so bad about having In-N-Out
Burger there also?

What is the big deal about “The Gateway” to the city anyway. In-N-Out Burger makes a nice addition to “The Gateway”, including having Applebees next to it. We have McDonalds, with all its tasteless, frozen and fattening food and a gas station – what is so bad about having In-N-Out Burger there also?
In-N-Out Burger has the freshest food, the meat is fresh not frozen, the tomatoes are sliced daily, the lettuce does not come in bags like the others, the fries are fresh potatoes that are peeled, sliced and fried, they don’t come frozen in a box like the others. But two other things that sets In-N-Out apart from the others, every employee speaks perfect English, yes English the language of this great country.
The other is that they enjoy the highest fast food restaurant wages, compare theirs with the competition. This is a family-owned company, not some big outfit with stockholders that are always looking at the bottom-line profit instead of their great employees. I know this because both my son and daughter started their first job at In-N-Out in Gilroy.
I’m glad to see that the council members who opposed In-N-Out reconsidered and approved this fine restaurant in our great city.
