Parents of incoming ninth graders are invited to attend a free half-hour informational seminar on the new IB program to be offered this year at Andrew Hill High School in San Jose.

The seminar will be held Thursday, May 29, 6:30-7 p.m. at the Morgan Hill Community Center, 17000 Monterey Road at East Dunne Avenue.

IB is a specially designed educational program that offers the high school student intensive, unique ways to learn, problem solve and think. Studying takes place in a project-based, student-centered environment that emphasizes the student’s relationship with the greater community.

Applications for the program are now being accepted. Incoming ninth grade students in Santa Clara County are eligible. Interested parents and incoming ninth graders should call Michael Winsatt, IB Coordinator, at 347-4116.
