We have been hosting American History and Government Study Seminars for 15 years. Each year, about this time is what we call, “nail-biting” time. We are committed. The faculty and facilities are committed. Each day we open the mail with anticipation, praying there will be a large group of students and alums.

My friend John Dawson taught me a valuable lesson some years ago, “The time to cancel a meeting is before you schedule it. Seek, as best you can, a word from the Lord and then move in faith. Once scheduled in that way, never look back.”

Each year, we have last-minute requests for hospitality and promise ourselves that “Next year, we’ll avoid the last-minute confusion.”

Each year, the incredible significance of what the seminars present, and the way it is presented, seems more important in the light of current events. This year is no exception. Our society desperately needs what we will be presenting.

If you can possibly arrange to join us, please do. Remember, the $100 tuition is waived for alums (everyone pays the $35 registration which includes the Saturday banquet). If you can’t manage to join us for the four days (alums) drop in when you can. Encourage friends (teens or adult) to attend.

We’ll be using the facilities of the Church of The Galley (COTV), 13380 Depot St., San Martin, July 16-19 for this year’s seminars. Feel free to contact us at hi******@ga****.com
