Dear Editor,
I want to thank the people of our local community for their support of all the MHDOG fundraising events, in particular, the most recent one, Walk-a-Pooch. Morgan Hill Dog Owners Group (MHDOG) is raising funds to build an off leash dog park at Community Park and the people of Morgan Hill and the surrounding towns have been super supportive of all our events. At this most recent fund raiser, 50 dogs and their owners came to walk, over 100 people signed pledge forms and donated, 34 businesses paid a fee to be sponsors and to have their logos on the event tee shirt. In addition there were 23 volunteers from the MHDOG support group who helped to run the event. We are truly blessed to live in an area where local people and businesses support non-profit organizations, such as MHDOG. We are grateful to everyone for supporting our four-legged friends as well as all the other deserving groups in our community. With your continued support we will get that dog park built! Woof!
