The fifth annual Pinecrest Run got off to a roaring start Friday morning at EMF Motorsports, 17165 Depot St., where more than 170 motorcycle enthusiasts departed Morgan Hill headed for gold country. Many of the bikes were loaded “2-up” with driver and passenger looking forward to the 200-mile trip that ends with live music and dinner at the Steam Donkey Restaurant in the Sierra hills.
The inaugural Pinecrest Run was held in 2002 with 75 bikers attending. The event has grown each year by word of mouth, mostly by EMF Motorsports customers and those that have attended the event previously.
Most of the motorcycles are Harley-Davidsons, but any vehicle with two wheels is invited to join in and experience the thrill of the open road with fellow bikers and new friends.
