Just when you thought your local farmers’ market was closed for the season – joy to the world! You can pick up locally grown, organic produce year-round, as the Morgan Hill Certified Farmers’ Market is planning to forge ahead through the cold winter months.

“We had a really good summer and spring,” says Market Manager Virginia Sellers. “We’re gonna try it again.”

This will mark the Morgan Hill Farmers’ Market second attempt to stay open all year, she said. Other, smaller markets often close for the season once winter hits.

There will be 20 or so vendors selling their goods, according to Sellers.

The Morgan Hill Certified Farmers’ Market takes place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays on the Third and Depot streets.
