D.R. Domenichini Construction is looking to give back.

The 2012 Morgan Hill Business of the Year announced Thursday that it is looking for Morgan Hill residents in need of construction to apply for its community outreach project.

The company will donate 225 hours of labor, estimated between $25,000-$30,000 and will raise funds for $5,000 of building materials for a mini home makeover to a deserving resident, family or business.

“During these challenging economic times, I wanted to ‘pay-it-forward’ and donate my company’s time, labor and resources to help a disadvantaged and deserving family or individual. This might just be the springboard to help someone achieve their goal,” said Dave Domenichini, the company owner.

Domenichini says the project they will take on can be for example, adding handicap accessibility for a returning veteran, or remodeling a damaged kitchen.

“We’ll be able to do something that will help this person and ideally they would be inspired to some good tidings for others,” said Domenichini.
