The 57th Annual Morgan Hill Haru Matsuri Spring Festival and Taiko Expo will take place at 11 a.m. April 30 at the Morgan Hill Buddhist Community Center, which is located at 16450 Murphy Avenue.
The event, which is hosted by the Morgan Hill Buddhist Community Center and features the San Jose Taiko Group, is free to the public.
“Come enjoy the food, entertainment, exhibits and, of course, the Taiko drums,” according to the announcement.
The festival includes performances by San Jose Taiko and Morgan Hill’s Sandoshin Taiko plus other Bay Area Taiko groups. In addition, there will be Asian crafts, artists and vendors, cultural displays and booths, farmers’ market and white elephant.
Asian cuisine includes chicken and beef teriyaki, Udon, sushi and Manju.
