Heather Ann Geddes was recently selected as the new community librarian for Morgan Hill Library after an extensive nationwide search, according to a April 25 announcement from the Santa Clara County Library District.
Geddes, who earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and a Master of Library and Information Science degree from the University of Alberta, Canada, began her new position in February 2017.
Geddes formerly served as the principal librarian for the Watsonville Public Library, overseeing the system-wide public service, including collection development and day to day management of the main library
“I am thrilled to be joining such a forward thinking, innovative organization,” Geddes said.
