Anna Caballero, a candidate for the 30th Assembly District, wants to hear from Morgan Hill residents.
The former Secretary of California’s Business, Consumer Services and Housing Agency will host a listening meeting from 6 to 7:30 p.m. today at the Grinds Vines and Automobilia Cafe (17400 Monterey St.) in downtown Morgan Hill.
Caballero will provide an overview of current issues facing the Central Coast and the state and explain why she has chosen to leave Governor Brown’s cabinet and seek the Assembly seat which she held from 2007 through 2010, according to the Aug. 30 announcement.
This is a community event opened to all residents.
This is the third in a series of such events in communities throughout the 30th Assembly District, which covers the Salinas Valley, Watsonville, Morgan Hill, Gilroy and all of San Benito County.
Caballero placed first in the June primary, and will be on the ballot in the November runoff election to represent the 30th Assembly District.
