Cops raise more than $7,000 for charity

The Morgan Hill Police Officers Association raised more than $7,000 from the organization’s second annual golf tournament fundraiser last week.

The Fall Classic golf tournament was held Sept. 6 at Coyote Creek Golf Course.

The money raised through tournament registration fees and raffles will help support local charities and families, according to a MHPOA statement posted on the MHPD Facebook page.

The POA represents about 30 Morgan Hill police officers.
