As part of the Santa Clara County Library District’s “Focus on Food” series, the Morgan Hill Library will host two guest speakers who are experts on nutrition and farming later this month.

On April 18, Yummy Tummy Farms owner Farmer Donald will speak at the library about sustainable, suburban farming in a program titled “A Family Workshop on Planning Your Garden.” Participants will learn secrets about how to produce healthy and organic fruits, vegetables and herbs in a suburban, backyard environment. The program begins at 7 p.m.

On April 20, writer, “food mood” expert and nutritionist Trudy Scott will speak to library patrons about how and why to eat whole real foods, find natural solutions for anxiety and other mood problems, banish sugar cravings and find answers to common health issues. Scott is the author of “The Anti-Anxiety Food Solution.” That program begins at 4 p.m.

The library district’s “Focus on Food” series brings topics and programs related to healthy and sustainable food to community libraries throughout the county.

The Morgan Hill Library is located at 660 W. Main Ave.
