Saint John the Divine Preschool, located at 17740 Peak Avenue in Morgan Hill, is offering a wide variety of weekly sports and theme camps for summer 2013.
Each week, the sports camp held Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until noon will focus on a particular sport where campers will learn the specific skills and strategies that coincide with that sport. Offered to children entering third through six grades, sports campers will also learn how to make healthy snacks, construct banners and learn fun sports songs.
This summer, the sports camps, which cost $125 per week, will include soccer (June 10-14 and July 8-12); basketball (June 17-21 and July 29-Aug. 2), volleyball (June 24-28 and July 22-26); lawn games (July 15-19) and board games (Aug. 5-9).
The theme camps, also $125 per week and with activities around the weekly theme, include cooking (June 10-14 and Aug. 19-23); science (June 17-21); music (June 24-28 and Aug. 5-9); and performing arts (July 8-12 and Aug. 12-23).
St. John’s also offers daily drop-in summer camps at $25 per day, as well as Kindergarten Jumpstart with three weekly sessions beginning on July 15.
