Community Solutions, a comprehensive nonprofit human services agency that serves South Santa Clara and San Benito counties, announced the hire of Lisa Davis, a licensed marriage and family therapist, as the agency’s Chief Operations Officer on July 17.
“We are excited to welcome Lisa as a part of our team at Community Solutions,” said Erin O’Brien, President and CEO of Community Solutions. “Her extensive expertise in the mental health field, paired with her comprehensive management experience, will have a meaningful impact on our organization and services to clients.”
Davis will be responsible for daily operations and clinical programs within the organization, which works in partnership with community-based organizations, law enforcement, local schools and county health and human service providers.
Davis has more than 30 years of experience helping children and families with severe mental and behavioral health needs. She received her master’s degree in counseling psychology with honors from Santa Clara University and is an established leader in Santa Clara County’s system of care for children and families. She joins the Community Solutions team from EMQ Families First in San Jose, where she was a Clinical Director for 14 years.
Community Solutions offers a broad spectrum of services for mental health, substance abuse, family dysfunction, sexual assault, juvenile delinquency, domestic violence and youth development. The agency’s mission is to create opportunities for positive change by promoting and supporting the full potential of individuals, the strengths of families and the well being of our community.
