Local musicians will be donating their time and talents this Friday night for a benefit show for Community Solutions and St. Joseph’s Family Center, two leading nonprofit organizations providing social services in South County.
An acoustic benefit will be held at the 9Lives Club at 7340 Monterey St. and feature sets by Janet Thompson with Mike Thompson and Eric Behlmer, Tony Ortiz and the Michael Gaither Band. After the blues and Americana artists wrap up their sets, Gilroy’s own rock band, PRW will take the stage and give attendees the chance to dance.
Doors will open at 8 p.m. and music will start at 8:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 if you purchase them in advance online at ninelivesclub.com or at Community Solutions’ Gilroy office at 9015 Murray Ave., #100 (phone: 408-846-4717) or at St. Joseph’s Family Center at 7950 Church St. (phone: 408-842-6662). Tickets are $15 if you buy at the door.
9Lives is donating the venue for the show and all proceeds will go directly to the agencies.
