The Hispanic Foundation of Silicon Valley will celebrate Latino family values, community and philanthropy at its 17th annual Hispanic Charity Ball fundraiser Saturday, Oct. 21, at the Fairmont Hotel in downtown San Jose.
The Louis and Stella Sandoval family, of Gilroy, will receive the La Familia Award, an honor recognizing a model Latino family for dedication to the community.
“Volunteering is natural and something we enjoy doing as a family,” said Stella Sandoval, speaking on behalf of her late husband, Louis, their four children and her parents, Alice and Gilbert Garza.
