Spotlight: Live Oak’s Emerald Regime 2007 Class A champions

The Emerald Regime Marching Band and Color Guard were awarded first place after their performance Nov. 17 during the Western Band Association Class A Championships in Woodland Hills.

They performed their show ‘Theater of Darkness,’ with music by Danny Elfman, arranged by Nick Rodriguez and featuring music from the movies ‘Spiderman 2,’ ‘Edward Scissorhands’ and ‘Sleepy Hollow.’

There were 41 bands in the competition.
