Live Oak High School held its annual LIP SCENE competition on
Feb 16th to a packed house at the Live Oak Theatre. Many students
participated in the event.
Live Oak High School held its annual LIP SCENE competition on Feb 16th to a packed house at the Live Oak Theatre. Many students participated in the event.
The evening started with each person or group giving their performance. As the judges were tallying their scorecards for the competing groups, there were exhibition performances by students from Hollister. The Live Oak Sophomore, Junior and Senior classes also performed.
The $100 award for first place went to Travis Blanchard and Alan Dronek for their rendition of The Blues Brothers’ “Everybody Needs Somebody”.
Alan played the part of Jake and Travis was Elwood Blues.
