As usual, the media has already convicted a popular Bay Area football player.
For those of us who suffer the diseases of bi-polar depression and alcoholism, there are only three ways to combat these horrible diseases.
They are all of equal worth:
n A loving family and friends who offer support.
n A caring and empathetic doctor who will prescribe appropriate medication and,
n A firm belief in one’s higher power (be it He, She or It) to offer understanding, guidance and support.
