Gavilan College students can now get instant access to grades, schedules, rosters, and other campus resources through a new app available on both iPhone and Android platforms.
The app features let students use their mobile devices to manage courses and schedules with direct links to instructor information. It also allows students to check grade and view their course history. Community members who are not enrolled as students can also use limited features on the app.
The app is also equipped with a directory, making it easy to find phone numbers, websites and campus addresses. Users can find faculty and staff emails and make calls right from the app.
Another feature is a campus map to help new students find a building or department with a GPS guide to their destination. The Events feature helps students stay informed on important dates and campus activities. Users can also visit Gavilan’s social media sites directly in the application.
Anyone interested in downloading the app can go to www.gavilan.edu/mobile, or at the Play store on Android and the App store on Apple. First-time users must select Gavilan Community College as their school to gain access to that campus.
