At a time when there is great interest in the activities of the Morgan Hill School District, I think it is fitting to remember the people who film the board meetings and put them on cable TV in Morgan Hill. They are volunteers, all of them, and it is only through their hard work that that the meetings are televised on Saturday nights at 8 p.m.
The programs are produced by Michael-Sue BrownKorbel and Mary Lopez, whose dedication to open government has continued for every meeting for almost two years. I’m sure they could find many other things to do with their time away from work, but they want citizens to see our school district’s management in action. They do this on their own time, with their own equipment and supplies.
The TV channel, Morgan Hill Access Television (MHAT), is operated by volunteers with resources from Charter Cable and the City of Morgan Hill. Details on MHAT is available at www.mhat.tv
Please remember these dedicated neighbors when you watch the School Board meetings on cable Channel 19.

Editor’s note: The board meeting Monday and Tuesday night of last week also will be broadcast Jan. 22 and 29 at 7 p.m.
