Do you know a teacher, student, local business and/or individual who you feel should be recognized for all that they do for the community? Well, look no more. The 2005 Showcase Awards are right around the corner.
The Morgan Hill Chamber of Commerce is now accepting 2005 Showcase Award nominations to honor Morgan Hill’s Man, Woman, Business, Educator and Student of the Year.
Showcase Morgan Hill is an annual awards program that originally began in 1958 by honoring Morgan Hill’s first Citizen of the Year, Richard Weichert. The program recognizes and honors outstanding and unselfish service to our community throughout their long history of service, civic involvement, and leadership in the Morgan Hill community.
Nominations are welcome from any community member living or working in Morgan Hill.
The deadline date to submit nominations is Friday, Dec. 3. The more information you can provide on the nomination form, the better.
The Showcase takes place Saturday, Jan. 22, at the Community and Cultural Center, 17000 Monterey Road.
