What inspires you?
What inspires me most is my family. Their unwavering confidence in my abilities to do well both in and out of school has pushed me to strive for my best.
What is your favorite subject in school, and why?
My favorite subject in school is definitely biology. I have always been intrigued by the structure and functions of all living organisms, especially the human body.
If you had the power to change one thing in the world, what would it be?
If I had the power to change one thing in the world, I would eliminate animal cruelty. I am a huge animal lover and strongly believe that harming innocent animals is an inhumane, violent act.
If you could go anywhere, where would you go?
If I could go anywhere in the world I would go to Thailand because it looks beautiful and it would be interesting to view a completely different culture. I ‘d also be able to eat some bomb chicken pad Thai!
Name one big challenge in your life right now:
The biggest challenge in my life right now is battling senioritis! It s difficult trying to focus on schoolwork when I am excited to graduate and head off to college in the fall.
What do you want to do after high school?
After high school, I want to attend a four-year university then go to medical school. I ‘d also love to study abroad at some point during my education.
What is your dream job?
My dream job is to be a doctor because I enjoy helping others and am captivated by science. Being able to combine both passions would be a very rewarding and fun job.
Something that makes you smile?
Something that makes me smile is my friends. I am very lucky to have such great friends who I can joke around and have a good time with, yet go to if I need help.
What are your three favorite things?
Three of my favorite things are puppies, corny jokes, and spending time with my friends and family.
