The rain is here to stay with gray skies and showers expected tonight and through Friday, according to Forecaster Diana Henderson of the National Weather Service.
Thursday’s wet weather brought a little shy of half an inch to Morgan Hill with temperatures remaining in the low 60s throughout the day. The main storm front passed through South County in the morning with wind gusts reaching 16 miles per hour, Henderson said.
“We’ll have showers through tonight and most of tomorrow,” Henderson added. “Saturday looks like it’s going to be nice, a good recovery day for things to dry out and the next front will come in on Sunday.”
Morgan Hill has received 3.46 inches of rain this season, according to data collected by the Santa Clara Valley Water District.
