With a tie against Piedmont in their first face-off, Live Oak comes up with the win as they meet again on Friday night with a 10-6 score. The first two goals for Live Oak were scored by senior Chase Norman with an assist from Junior Brian Costello. Norman also assisted in a goal from Junior Kyle Dutra. Costello added five goals with assists from Junior Scott Alexander and Tyler Damron. Alexander added a solid shot to the net that was tapped in by Junior Conner Williamson.
Senior Rickey Lasher defended the net making several key saves to help Live Oak come up with the victory.
