Born to Rosa and Roman Muro in Florencia, Zacatecas, Mexico. From the ages of 6-11 years lived in Chicago, Illinois, family returned to live in Guadalajara, Jalisco and immigrated to California in 1947. Resident of San Juan Bautista since 1949. Worked at local canneries for over 35 years. Member of Teamsters Union and Mission San Juan Bautista and St. Benedict’s Church in Hollister.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Crispin G. Espinosa who died Jan. 15, 2008 and her daughter, Vicky Espinosa who died Feb. 8, 2009. She is survived by her children, Raul Espinosa of Vancouver, WA, Crispin Espinosa (Brenda) of Lathrop, CA, Consuelo Espinosa of Gilroy, Ofelia Orabuena (Frank) of Hollister, Ruben Espinosa (Regina) of Hollister, Jose Luis “Pepe” Espinosa of San Juan Bautista and Sylvia Espinosa of Oakland, CA, her siblings, Roy Muro of San Diego, Carmen Gutierrez of San Diego, Jose Muro of Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, Manuel Muro of San Diego and Cuca Muro of Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico and her grandchildren, Kathy, Cristina and Crispin III Espinosa, Damien and Anessa Espinosa, Tonantzin I. Mitre, Frank, Ray and Alina Orabuena, Michael Espinosa and Valentina Espinosa and numerous great grandchildren.

The Rosary will be on Thursday, Jan. 28, 2010 at 7:00 P.M. at Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home. The Mass will be on Friday, Jan. 29, 2010 at 10:30 A.M. at Old Mission San Juan Bautista. Interment will follow the Mass at San Juan District Cemetery.
