for earning over a 3.0 GPA during the 2010 spring semester.
Morgan Hill – The sharpest of Sobrato High School and Live Oak High School’s sophomores, junior and seniors were honored recently for earning over a 3.0 GPA during the 2010 spring semester.
At SHS, 175 students earned a GPA between 3.0 and 3.49, 155 students had a GPA of 3.5 to 3.99 and 133 outdid their peers to earn the Superintendent’s Award for earning a 4.0 GPA or above.
At LOHS, 151 students earned a GPA between 3.0 and 3.49, 122 students had a GPA of 3.5 to 3.99 and 99 students studied more than most to garner a 4.0 GPA or higher.
Assistant Superintendent Jay Totter, Superintendent Wes Smith congratulated the students at morning assemblies, and Lissa Kreisler of KBAY was the keynote speaker at Live Oak High School.
Only last year freshmen, sophomores and juniors were honored for their achievement.
