$10K grant open to nonprofits, deadline Sept. 1

The Morgan Hill Community Foundation is currently accepting applications until Sept. 1, for a $10,000 grant that celebrates the organization’s 10 years of philanthropy in Morgan Hill.

The MHCF grant selection committee will confirm receipt of applications by Sept. 15 and the winner will be notified later in the fall. The grant will be given at the Annual Philanthropy Celebration, Nov. 9. This year’s event is an evening celebration at the Morgan Hill Community & Cultural Center, which is also celebrating 10 years serving Morgan Hill.
In an effort to continue its fund raising activities to support the “10 for 10,” the MHCF is hosting a “Tequila Tasting” on Oct. 18, at Rosy’s at the Beach, downtown Morgan Hill, exact time still pending. Tickets are available for $40; contact Pamala Meador,

In the last MHCF grant cycle this past spring the organization received almost triple the number of applications over previous years. It is also expecting high turn-out for this 10-year anniversary grant. The MHCF will continue its annual grant cycle in the spring of 2013.
