The City of Morgan Hill’s 9th annual “Splash 2 Dash” youth triathlon is still accepting competitors for the June 11 event at Ann Sobrato High School (401 Burnett Avenue).
Participants must be between ages 5-13.
Pre-registration is $30. Day of event registration is $40. Race fee includes a t-shirt, goodies bag and finisher medal for each participant. Register by calling (408) 782-2128 or online at mhreconline.com and use activity code #SSY001.
There are four separate age divisions and award categories. Distances based on age are as follows: 5-6 year olds swim 25 yards, bike 1.25 miles and run 1/4 mile; 7-8 year olds swim 50 yards, bike 2.5 miles and run 1/2 mile; 9-10 year olds swim 100 miles, bike 3.75 miles and run 3/4 mile; and 11-13 year olds swim 150 yards, bike 5 miles and run 1 mile.
Race day schedule is 6:30 a.m. registration/check-in and 8 a.m. race begins with first wave.
