Spotlight of the Week

Meet the Author
Local children’s author David Keane visited Oakwood School in May. Keane is popular with the students for two books he’s written in the “Joe Sherlock Kid Detective” series. The writer’s visit was the kickoff for his national book tour. Students were excited to meet Keane. Every student received an autographed copy of his first book. Keane read to students and also talked about the process he uses for writing books and illustrating them.
