Saint Louise Regional Hospital will partner with Assemblymember Bill Monning and Partnership for Prescription Assistance to hold a free seminar and workshop on affordable medication for the community Thursday evening at the DePaul Health Center in Morgan Hill.
During the seminar, a Partnership representative will explain how patients and their families can use the Partnership program to receive prescription medication at low or no cost. Following the seminar will be a tutorial on how to sign up for the program.
“Saint Louise is proud to be teaming up with Assemblymember Bill Monning and Partnership for Prescription Assistance to bring this free and beneficial event to our community,” said Joanne Allen, president and chief executive officer. “This is a great way to inform those who cannot afford medication that there is an available option for them.”
Assemblymember Monning, as well as representatives from his office and from Partnership for Prescription Assistance will help people learn how to utilize this free service to receive help paying for prescription medications.
To qualify for the program, the patient will need a doctor’s prescription. Income and age will not be factors for qualification. Attendees are advised to bring the names of the medications to the meeting in order to determine eligibility for assistance.
The free seminar and workshop will go from 5:30 to 7 p.m. and will be held at the DePaul Conference Center at 18550 DePaul Drive, Morgan Hill.
