Steve died accidentally on August 31, 2009 at age 50. A native Californian, Steve grew up and attended school in Gilroy, CA. He is survived by his children Stefanie and husband David Pinheiro, Kevin and Lauren Jo Bertero of Gilroy as well as his former wife Amanda Bertero, grandchildren, Brittney Gitmed, Donavyn and Natalia Pinheiro. He is also survived by his mother, Elaine Bertero Pittroff and husband Lyle, sister, Angela and husband Mike Scarcella , nieces, Brittany and Josephine Mary Scarcella of Hollister and Aunt Phyllis Armenta, her partner Bob Dillon, cousin David Armenta and extended Bertero family members all of Gilroy. He was preceded in death by his father, Carl Bertero, Steve's sister, Carrie Ann Bertero, grandparents Angelo C. Bertero, Josephine Mary Bertero and Maternal grandparents, Ben and Edna Marrujo. He loved his children, his family, his friends; and we all loved him well, in return. Steve graduated from Gilroy High School in 1976 he was a longtime employee at Northern California Safeway. A memorial service will be held Friday, Sept. 18, 2009, 6:00 P.M. at Habing Family Funeral Home.

James Merle Shade of San Martin, CA ,and former long time resident of Salinas, passed away at the age of 70 on Monday, April 9, 2007 at Westland House in Monterey, CA.

Passed away in Hollister at the age of 46.

Gerald Francis Du Paul died at J.C. Fremont Hospital Wed., Jan. 20 after a lengthy illness. He was born to Francis and Altha Du Paul on Oct. 2, 1936 in Minot, North Dakota. In 1947 the family moved to a farm north of Carpio, ND. He attended high school at St. Leo's and Minot High School, graduating in 1955. He served for 3 years in the U.S. Army Signal Corps during the Korean War.

Frances Catherine Rodriquez passed away April 26, 2009. She is survived by her children Catherine (Ruben) Barbosa of Gilroy, Jacqueline (Scott) Pryor-Bailey of Waxahachie, TX, Robert (Libby) Rodriquez of Gilroy, and Timothy (Tracey) Rodriquez of Hollister; grandmother of Cindy Martin of Davis, Michael Barbosa of Los Gatos, Christopher Rodriquez of Gilroy, Mitchell Rodriquez of Redding, David Pryor attending the Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs, CO, Dillon Pryor of Waxahachie, TX, Kristin Gallant of Watertown, NY, and Tim Rodriquez of Hollister; great-grandmother to Ryan and Grace Martin of Davis, and Jack Gallant of Watertown, NY; sister of Alice Sousa and Albert, Jim, and Donald Dixon. Preceded in death by her husband Chilo and her brother John.

Beverly Webb Peipelman~ December 24, 1933 - November 4, 2016 Memorial service 7 pm Monday, November 7, 2016, at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta, KS Beverly Webb Peipelman, 82, of Augusta, KS, passed away Friday, November 4, 2016 in El Dorado, KS. Beverly was born in Clovis, New Mexico on December 24, 1933, to the late Hazel (Webb) and Roland G. Peipelman. He served in the U.S. Army. Beverly was a quality engineer for NASA. On December 24, 1953 he married LaVern Dorothy (Dodson) Peipelman. She preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by: his sister, Betty Davenport. He is survived by: daughters, Debbie Perez and husband Ron of San Jose, CA; Denise Loper and husband Brad of Augusta, KS; and son, Ben Peipelman and Michele Castro of Morgan Hill, CA; sister, Nadine Schneider of Las Cruces, NM; grandchildren, Heather Holmes (Jason), Kelly, Daniel, and Joshua Jordan; great grandchildren, Kyler and Tayten McFeaters, Quinten and Alexa Chandler, and Alyssa Jordan.
