The Lord called Ardis home on May 26th, 2014, at the age of 91. She was born in South Dakota and later moved to California where she met her first husband, George W. Dawn who died in 1961.  

Carol Jean Pappani Doak, Houston, Texas, lost her brave battle with cancer and joined the Lord on December 31, 2006.

Elizabeth “Betty” or “Tutu” Robershotte of Mesa, AZ, died of natural causes early morning, Friday, August 10th at the home of her daughter. She was 86 and the daughter of Flora Merrick. Born Elizabeth B Merrick on August 19, 1925, in Aberdeen, SD, she was raised and educated at Aberdeen High School and Northern College. A former Californian and 10-year resident of Gilroy, CA, Betty moved to Leisure World, in Mesa, AZ, in 1996. Betty held a deep love for and appreciation of music and had a wonderful singing voice; she was the former lead soprano of the “Co-Eds” singing trio that was featured on the Lawrence Welk shows. Betty had a sharp wit, wonderful spirit, fantastic sense of humor, and great vocabulary. She was married to the late Jac Robershotte and is survived by their children, Mark Robershotte, Paul Robershotte and Lynn Robershotte. A beloved mother and grandmother, she will be missed by her children and their spouses, six grandchildren, two great grandchildren and the extended Robershotte and Dauberg family members.

IDA DESIMONE passed away Friday, February 17, 2012, at her home in Chico, CA surrounded by her family. Husband of 37 years to Rick Desimone. Mother of Michael Desimone (Socorro) of Chico, Lisa Wharton (Russell) of Gilroy, Carlotta Van Etten (Waposta) of Chico and Raquel Mattice (Asa) of Chico. Grandmother of Roman, Michael, Alice, Aidan, Ezekiel, Micco and Richard. Sister of Jose Arellano of China, Marina Arellano of Morgan Hill, Rachel Martinez (Victor) of Gilroy, Peter Arellano of Gilroy, Lupe Arellano (Roberto) of Gilroy and Michael Arellano (Anne) of San Jose. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Daughter of the late Jose and Bessie Arellano.

Memorial 7:00 P.M. Sunday 6/14 Gilroy Apostolic Assembly Church.

Visitation will be Tuesday, January 8th, 2013, from Noon to 8:00 P.M. at the Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Funeral Home with a Vigil Service to be held at 7:00 P.M., at the funeral home. Family and friends can meet at the Old Mission San Juan Bautista on Wednesday morning at 9:30 A.M. to attend the funeral Mass that will be offered at 10:00 A.M. Burial and Graveside services will follow at the San Juan District Cemetery.

Visitation: Sunday, April 12, 2015, from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M., at Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Funeral Home. Funeral Mass: Monday, April 13, 2015, at 11:00 A.M., at Sacred Heart Church, 5th & College Streets. Burial to follow at San Juan District Cemetery. Condolences to www.grunnagle.com.

Javier, beloved husband, father, brother, tio and friend passed away surrounded by family, at home, on Sunday, March 4, 2012. Javier was born in Mexico City in 1937, to Carlos and Guadalupe, the fifth of eight children.
