Lee Nora Marie Cone Filice
Lee Nora passed away in Jackson, CA. She was born in Fresno, CA to Ella and Oscar Cone. She attended school in Taft and graduated from Taft HS in 1934. She attended UC Berkeley. She met her husband Louis Filice at the cannery in San Jose. They were married in Oakland in 1938. They moved to the Triple F Ranch in Gilroy in 1944. She was a homemaker and taught at local schools. Louis passed away in 1966. She spent her later years living in the mountains near Volcano, CA and most recently in Sutters Creek. She was a wonderful seamstress, avid reader and gardener. She was involved in the Jackson Women's Club and loved watching sports on TV. Proceeded in death by her husband, her sons Alan & Ronald, her brother Gerald and her sister Iola. Survived by daughters Kathleen Orlando and Sylvia Meyer(both of Modesto),niece Annette Barbier(Burlingame),daughter-in-law Roxane Filice (La Quinta),four granddaughters and six great-grandchildren.
Pat Flores
Pat Flores passed away in Santa Barbara, CA on May 21, 2010, at the age of 66. Born in Greely, CO, Pat lived in Hollister since 1953. Pat is survived by her beloved husband of 42 years, Jose Luis Flores; her son and daughter-in-law, Johnny and Amy Flores of Fowlerville, MI; daughter Joyce Flores of San Jose; daughter Ana Flores and partner David Tipton of Santa Barbara; sister Pilar Carranza and family of Madera; sister Carmen Castillo and family of Hollister; and her three grandchildren: Isabella, Gabriella, and Anthony Flores. Plus many more family and friends.

William H. (Bill) Lasseter
William H. (Bill) Lasseter passed away in Hollister. He was born in Sanger, CA and moved to Hollister when he was 2 years old and lived here all of his life. He married his wife Barbara in 1953 in Carmel. He worked for Black Cooper Furniture and Mortuary for many years and Lyle Cooper was his friend and mentor. He was a member of Sacred Heart Church, Bolado Park Men's Club, Hollister Elks, Eagles, SIRS and was a member of The Knights of Columbus and was a past grand knight. He also was a big supporter of Special Olympics and youth sports. He and Barbara liked to travel and take cruises which included trips to Hawaii and Europe.
Jessie Guttirez
Jessie Guttirez passed away in Hanford. He was a former resident of Hollister, moving to Hanford six years ago to live with his daughter. He was a member of Sacred Heart Church, a graduate of San Benito High School, a member of the Teamsters Union and worked for Firestone Tire Co. and Gaylord Box Factory.

Passed away Thursday, April 23, 2009 in San Jose, CA. Daughter of Richard & Becky Barberi of San Benito County and Dennis Raquet of Vietnam. Sister of Shawn Raquet (Nicci) of Santa Cruz, CA. Aunt of Hunter & Cruz Raquet of Santa Cruz. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. A native of San Jose, Andy attended Gilroy Schools and graduated from Gilroy High School in 1989. She was a graduate of Heald Business College in Monterey.

Cruz Becerra Fausto, 90 years old passed away from a sudden heart attack. He was the son of Juana and Ramon Fausto, born in Guachinango, Jalisco and made his home Gilroy at the age of 16.

Philip entered into rest after 102 wonderful years. He was born in Wakayama, Japan, and arrived in the United States in 1915. He was predeceased by his wife of 64 years, Sakaye, daughter Rose (Saito), sister Kathryn (Murata) and grandson Todd. He is survived by: sisters, Grace Takashima, Dorothy Katayama and Mary Nakayama (Wayne); sons, Arthur, Isao and Richard; 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren and many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
