Fred Amoroso October 14, 1929 – February 13, 2013
There will be no memorial services. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Negative Population Growth Organization. Â Fred "Sonny" Amoroso died on February 13th, 2013, in San Jose. Â He is survived by his two children, Kimberly and Michael, and his granddaughter Audrey Strickland. Â A native of California, Fred was a resident of Morgan Hill for 51years. He was a former professional boxer, worked as a probation officer for the city of San Jose, was a member of the Tea Party movement and an active participant in Morgan Hill politics.
Christine S. Perez June 12, 1962 – September 12, 2012
Christine S. Perez, a resident of Morgan Hill, was born June 12, 1962 and passed away on September 12, 2012, after a lengthy illness. She leaves behind her husband, James Perez and sons Martin and Ryan Perez. She is also survived by her mother, Patricia Gomez of Morgan Hill, brother James Gomez of Vacaville, CA and sister, Katherine Crooker of Gilroy, CA.

Robert C. Sanchez, 50, of Salinas, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2009. He was born June 27, 1959, in San Jose.

Ronald A. Filice, a long-time Gilroy resident, passed away on January 19, 2007. He was born December 19, 1941 to Louis and LeeNora Filice in San Jose, CA.

At Bud’s request, no memorial service or celebration of Life will be held. In lieu of a memorial, donations can be sent to Mabie Northside Nursing Home, 900 Sunset Drive.
Elizabeth B. Cullen
Elizabeth B. Cullen, 92, passed away on January 23, 2009. She was the daughter of Martin and Eliza (Castro) Holzhauer. She was a life-long resident of Gilroy. Prior to her marriage, she was a telephone operator for the Gilroy Telephone Company. She was married to Lawrence J. Cullen on June 27, 1937. He predeceased her in 1981. They loved to travel, a practice she continued for many years after her husband's death.
Marjorie E. Chesnut
Marjorie E. Chesnut passed away in Hollister. She was born in Beaver City, Nebraska and came to Hollister from Richmond, CA in 1944. She was married to her husband, Erwin "Chet" Chesnut in 1940 in Carson City, NV. He preceded her in death in 1989. She was a member of The First Presbyterian Church, Order of Eastern Star, Fidelity Rebekah Lodge and was active in the local senior citizens program where she taught crafts. She enjoyed oil painting in her free time.
