Calling all guys and girls ages 16 through 20. Registration is now open for the return of Morgan Hill Access Television’s Home Town Pageant for Ms. Mushroom and Mr. Fungi.
Are you or is someone you know between the ages of 16 and 20, currently enrolled in school, and a resident of Morgan Hill or San Martin? Then you can represent the city of Morgan Hill as Miss Mushroom or Mr. Fungi in this Hometown Pageant. (note – students attending school in Morgan Hill will be considered residents for the sake of this contest).
This event is open to both male and female contestants, and will be conducted 100 percent online and on-air.
Contestants will compete in an online and on-air video pageant. All videos will be shot at Morgan Hill Access Television Studio 82, located at 82 E 2nd St., next to BookSmart.
Video challenges will be presented to the contestants, and will include a personal introduction, Morgan Hill weather and traffic report and a spokesperson interview.
Three rounds of competition will be produced with the first round eliminating all but five male and five females. The second round will reduce the contestants to three male and three females. The third round will draw it down to the finalists. These four finalists will be presented on stage at the Morgan Hill Mushroom Mardi Gras.
There is a $25 registration fee required and those fees should be mailed to 82 East 2nd Street, Morgan Hill CA 95037, made payable to MACCC. The deadline to apply is April 27.
