De Anza wins 73-72; Gavilan finishes 6-20
GILROY — The Gavilan College men’s basketball team lost its season finale to De Anza College by a narrow 73-72 margin on Wednesday night.

The Rams previously defeated De Anza 72-55 on Jan. 22.

Gavilan finishes its 2009-10 campaign with a 6-20 overall record, 1-11 in the South Division of the Coast Conference. The Gilroy junior college lost its last six games to close out the season.

San Jose City College finished first in the South when it went undefeated at 11-0, 23-4 overall. West Valley was runner-up in the division at 8-3, 14-13 overall.
