Kazuko Rees, at the age of seventy eight, passed away suddenly from unexpected complications following hip surgery.
Kazuko was known by many as Cassie. She will be remembered for her sense of humor, wonderful cooking and years of caring and nurturing.
Cassie is survived by her son John T. Rees,
daughter-in-law Sharon and grandsons Jack and Ryan; her daughter Elizabeth Brown, son-in-law Lanny and grandsons, Nycholes, Nolen, Gavin (Danielle); as well as her sister Mitsuko Tashiro of Japan and very special friends/neighbors and extended family that she loved dearly.
Cassie will be laid to rest next to her loving husband, Lt. Col (Retired) John E. Rees at the Presidio of San Francisco.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the National Kidney Foundation or to your favorite charity.
