Former SJ resident sentenced to 30 months for tax evasion
Gary Linn Packer was sentenced Tuesday to 30 months in prison, followed by three years of supervised release for tax evasion, United States Attorney Melinda Haag and Special Agent in Charge, Internal Revenue Service, Criminal Investigation, Marcus Williams said. The court also ordered Packer to pay restitution in the amount of $1,808,079.
