In an award ceremony to honor the best and brightest of Morgan Hill, Celebrate Morgan Hill awards dinner Saturday night brought in hundreds eager to praise the people of the year.
Recipients Eunice Kim, student of the year, Dr. Steve Kinsella, educator of the year, Jan Dean, volunteer of the year, D.R. Domenichini Construction, business of the year, and Loritta Bonfante Johnson, woman of the year, were honored by the Chamber of Commerce Jan. 28.
Following a dinner catered by Mama Mia’s Italian Restaurant, each award recipient was introduced this year through a pre-made video by someone close to them within the community. Then the winners gave a speech not to exceed more than two minutes.
