Kiwanis Club organizes annual event that includes Magic Ship of
Christmas
The Morgan Hill Kiwanis is once again bringing in the holidays with the 2004 Holiday Lights Parade.

The community parade takes place in downtown Morgan Hill on Saturday, Dec. 4, at 5:30pm, rain or shine. The parade hosts a variety of local businesses, community groups, bands, and just people (and pets) full of the holiday spirit.

Organizers are even hoping to once again have a special guest from the North Pole brought into Morgan Hill aboard the Magic Ship of Christmas.

The theme selected for this year’s parade is “The Festival of Lights,” which emphasizes the way we all gather together as a family and a community during the holidays.

The annual parade hosts nearly 50 entries and runs about an hour. The entry fee is $25 for non-profit groups and $50 for commercial entries.

The Morgan Hill Kiwanis puts on the parade in service to the community.

In advance of the parade, the Kiwanis, and other local service clubs decorate the median strips in downtown Morgan Hill. Anyone interested in participating in the parade, being a parade sponsor, or helping with decorations or any of these activities, is asked to call Barbara at 408-782-6230.
