Vandalism: Someone etched initials into windows at the Harvest Plaza at East Dunne Avenue and Murphy Avenue. The report was taken at 2:40pm.

Petty theft: A Live Oak High student reported her cell phone was taken out of her pocket while standing in the lunch line at school. The report was taken at 5:26pm.

Vandalism: A Gavilan College student reported her Passat was vandalized while parked in the parking lot at the Community Cultural Center. Ã… window was shattered. The report was taken at 11:09pm.

Dec. 8

Auto burglary: A Gitana Court resident reported her wallet and iPod were stolen from her unlocked vehicle. The report was taken at 8:15am.

Auto burglary: A Ponderosa Court resident reported a wallet was stolen from their unlocked vehicle. The report was taken at 9:27am.

Child abuse: A high school student reported she did not want to go back to her father’s house because he has physically abused her. The report was taken at 2:19pm.

Petty theft: A Live Oak High student’s backpack was “rummaged through” while it was in the girls’ locker room. A Nintendo DS and a graphic calculator were stolen from the backpack, valued at a total of $275. The report was taken at 3:38pm.

Burglary: A Grand Prix Way resident reported someone broke into her house. The back door was left open, some items were placed outside the front door of the house, the house was ransacked, and stereo equipment was stolen. The report was taken at 5pm.

Dec. 9

Burglary: Valero gas station on Monterey Road reported six propane tanks were stolen from the business. A latch on the cage containing the tanks was cut open. The report was taken at 6:54am.

Domestic violence: A Madrone Mobile Estates resident reported her husband picked her up and threw her against the wall and to the floor, then took all of her money and left the residence. She told police the incident occurred two weeks earlier. The report was taken at 12:35pm.

Grand theft: A Via Largo resident reported approximately 150 DVDs have been stolen from the home within the last week. The report was taken at 1:09pm.
