Alice G. Velasco December 8, 1936 – March 7, 2017
A year ago on March 7, 2016, we celebrated the life and passing of Alice G. Velasco. Our angel of light. You are always in our thoughts and forever in our hearts. Mary F. Angulo
Mary F. Angulo passed away at Gilroy Health Care & Rehabilitation Center on Friday, June 25th at the age of 79 years. Mary was a native of San Bernardino, CA and at the age of 14 years she and her parents moved to San Juan Bautista. Mary was an active member of the Mission San Juan Bautista; was a long time employee of Vessey Foods in San Benito County; who enjoyed family gatherings, spending time with her grandchildren, as well as crocheting and needle point. She was the daughter of the late Silvino and Emilia Figueroa. Surviving Mary is her husband Charles Angulo of Gilroy; her daughters Sylvia Gamboa, spouse Humberto of Hollister and Roseanna Guerrero, spouse Lupe of Gilroy; grandchildren Ashley Gamboa, Jennifer Guerrero, Lisa DuBois and Robert DuBois; great-grandchildren Yesenia and Vanessa Dubois; her sister and brother Natividad Figueroa of Hollister and Chris Figueroa of Colton, CA; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brother Charlie Figueroa, sister Josie Figueroa, and grandson Nathaniel Gamboa.
Albert Calpito
Albert Calpito was called home in the presence of his family after a 4 month battle with lung and brain cancer. Albert was a retired U.S. Navy Vietnam Veteran and 23 years with the United States Postal Service. He was born in the Philippines. He is preceded in death by his parents, Nicanor and Bernarda Calpito, and eldest brother Romualdo Romis. He is survived by his wife, Debbie Calpito of 22 years, his children Rodney and daughter-in-law, Fretzel Calpito, Jasmine Calpito, Albert Jr. Calpito, Derek Calpito, Darius Calpito; his brother, Rogelio Calpito;and his granddaughters, Sjannah and Hailley Calpito.We will miss you.

Masayo Yokoyama is survived by her husband of 64 years, Torao Yokoyama, her children Ray (Jo Ann) Yokoyama, Lily (Allan) Kawafuchi, Dale (Gordon) Mizuno, June Yokoyama Otaguro, Don (Glenda) Yokoyama and her grandchildren, Dereck and Justin Hanada, Kyle Kawafuchi, Ricky and Marie Mizuno, and Zachary and Rachel Yokoyama.
Ruth D Jones February 28, 1929 – February 23, 2017
Ruth Jean Dollahon Jones passed away on February 23, 2017, in Wilmington, North Carolina, five days before her 88th birthday. Ruth was born in New Mexico but moved to Gilroy, California, to attend elementary and high school and to marry her first husband, Charles Woolley, and bear six children.

Mary Evangeline Khan
Our dear Wife, Mother, Grandmother (etc.), Educator, Councilor and Friend has passed from this life into eternal rest with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ whom she loved all her life. Mary Raney Khan left us the morning of November 26, peacefully, in her sleep at home with her family. She was 98 years old.
